The animal also symbolizes confidence and courage but it can also mean danger depending on the nature of your interaction with the animal in your sleep and how you feel in and after the dream. Here are all the possible tiger dreams and what they might mean.

Dream of baby or tiger cub

A dream about a baby tiger means you have yet to cultivate the characteristics of the tiger, namely courage, grace, and strength. The dream does not only show that you lack these qualities but it also means you will need them if you are to fulfill your destiny. It is important to note that seeing a cub tiger means you do have the tiger qualities but they need developing, and not that they are non-existent.

What to do: You need to act more courageously, show more mental strength, and be fearless. Doing this will open many doors for you and ultimately usher you into your destiny.

Dreams about tigers attacking

Seeing a tiger or tiger attacking you in the dream may have different meanings. It often means that you have some very serious enemies out to get you. The attack could be physical or even in the form of malicious slander from someone you know.

You will then need to figure out who this might be.

  1. I dreamt of sleeping in a bedroom with mosquito net and was of my daughter sleeping right beside me. Suddenly a tiger sprang out from under my bed and attacked me. I clearly saw his paw and big head which was trying to grab me. But it was not making any sound.

I also could not speak because of fright. I was fighting its paw through the mosquito net. Somehow I screamed and woke up. Don’t know who won the match. I remember thinking I will not let it get past me to my sleeping daughter. Please tell me what is the meaning. I am very disturbed.

  2. Hi Sangeeta,

This is a long explanation, but please read it all as your dream is very important since it involves your daughter.

What makes your dream even more significant is the fact that you were very frightened and you are disturbed up to now. Usually, if you find yourself disturbed by a dream after waking up, it means that the dream has a serious meaning that you should pay attention to.

The tiger you saw in the dream symbolizes serious trouble. This trouble is intended to come to your daughter but it will first come to you. It could be an attack on your finances, your health, or even your emotional well-being. Whatever it might be, your daughter may ultimately suffer for it.

The intensity of the dream means this is something serious and you have been forewarned. Try to look around you and your family history. If you have a problem that seems to run in the family, it could be that it is now trying to manifest in your daughter. Please, also watch your daughter’s emotional well-being. Do not let anything leave her mind and emotions injured while she is young as this may affect her behavior and outlook in life, to the point where you will never be able to put her back on track.

But the dream could also mean there are some bad people around you. Be careful with those that seem to be jealous of you, those that seem to celebrate your misfortune, and those that seem to be upset about your successes. It is possible that there are some people wishing your daughter harm and you can never tell how far they would be willing to go just to harm you and your daughter. There are evil people in this world.

What to do: Do not let any unnecessary trauma come to your daughter. Do not expose her to the stresses of life at a young age. If you are having fights with your significant other, do not let her know about it. If you are having financial issues, do not let her know about it and let her be young until she is mature enough to understand these things.

Protect your daughter from those that may harm her with bad words. Bad words can be devastating to a young person and the damage is for life. Keep her from those you think might want to harm her physically.

Finally, protect her from those that may want to wish her harm. People are able to send negative energy and your tiger dream means there is some serious source of negative energy from someone close to you.

You have to counteract this evil intention by saying positive affirmations over your daughter. Bless her with words, praise her when she does well, tell her she is intelligent, beautiful, and that she will be a great person. Speak affirmations of protection for your daughter, and affirm that no evil will come to her. You are her protector and that is why your instinct was to keep the tiger from getting to your daughter.

The mosquito net also has a meaning. You see, while in the dream you installed a mosquito net to protect you and your daughter from mosquitos, the enemy happened to be something far worse: a tiger. The meaning here is that you are trying to protect your daughter but your efforts are not enough and are mistargeted. That is to say, you are willing to do anything to keep her safe but you do not know where the real trouble could come from. You thought the problem was mosquitos, but it turned out to be a tiger.

Please, examine your daughter’s life to see if there is anything off in her life: at school, among her friends, and even among those people you think may never harm her. I am not saying you should be suspicious of everyone, but it is better to be preventive than reactive.

Note: Do not worry too much about the dream. Worry will only increase the chances of this negative dream manifesting. Instead of worrying, you should be happy that you had the chance to foresee this event and can do something about it.

Thank you for reaching out and I hope this will give you some direction concerning your tiger dream. I would be glad to get any feedback from you.

    Regards,

    Mark Mulo.

  3. I had a dream I was playing with a playful little white puppy and it was almost attached to me in an affectionate way, so cute! But then suddenly I noticed there was also this tiger and I thought I was inside of a home but it transformed into a backyard and the tiger was relaxed laying down on the ground, I approached it.

I did not feel any fear and petted it. It was also crying because I thought it was so lonely, it had no other tigers around if it’s trapped here in this cage I just find a way out of this place but it walked away and I was just worried about that tiger.

I spoke to the owner and then the scene of my dream changed and I was in a garage full of work out equipment like climbing rope and basically, I have no idea what this dream’s meaning could be. I woke up in a fair mood, any help would be awesome.

  4. Hi Johanny,

This is a good dream with a good message. There are a few elements that stand out in your dream:

    1. A white puppy that is affectionate towards you and seems attached to you,
    2. A tiger that is relaxed and not hostile.
    3. You were no afraid of the tiger.
    4. You felt worried about the tiger.
    5. The tiger left.
    6. You found yourself in a garage with a lot of workout equipment.

The white puppy that was affectionate towards you symbolizes your ability to empathize with the vulnerable. Puppies in the dream can be seen as symbols of vulnerability. As you go on in life, you may find yourself doing a lot of things to help the less fortunate and this will win you their affection.

This does not have to be in the form of money but this also applies to give your time, attention, and an ear to those that need it. It simply means people will think of you and think about how helpful you are.

You saw a tiger but you were not afraid of it, and it also turned out to be non-hostile. This tiger dream symbol means the judged and condemned will find solace in you. You are the kind of person who sees beyond appearances and tries to look at the core of a person.

Instead of hating people based on assumptions, gossip, and appearances, you actually empathize with them just like you were feeling concerned about the tiger. Most people will see a tiger and only see a killer and be filled with fear. But you did not.

That tiger you saw in your dream also stands for your ability to see a hard situation from different perspectives. The tiger you saw symbolizes problems and hard situations. Since you were not afraid of it and went on to pet it, it means you have the ability to face tough problems with grace and composure, and in the end, these problems will be no more just like the tiger in your dream walked away.

Having such a mindset will see you soar high in whatever area of your life but the gym you saw means that you have to work hard at this. The workout equipment simply means:

carry on with this mentality or courage and resilience, work hard at it, and you will be great.

I hope this gives you a little insight into your dream.

    Kind regards,
    Mark Mulo.

  5. I have just recently been curious about dream meanings so, I will be writing this down in my journal. Thank you for your time and help ?

  6. Most of the time I happen to see the calm tiger just lingering around me in the most peaceful way….but today I saw 1 tiger very calm one and sweet 8 little cubs playing in a very cute way around me…..I am always happy to see this majestic animal in my dreams

I wish to know the meaning

  7. Hi Shreya,

This seems to be a good dream and it is great that you seem to be friends with this majestic animal in the dream.

From what I see, it means you have the great traits of the tiger, namely courage, self-reliance, and patience. The tiger is a very patient animal and lies in wait for hours until the right moment to strike comes.

It is also very courageous and will defend its territory at all costs.

Whether these traits are evident in your life or not, the dream means you have them inside you and they may need to be awakened.

The fact that you saw 8 sweet little cubs means that if you continue in the characteristics of the tiger, such as courage, patience, and self-reliance, you will bear many wonderful fruits just like you saw the 8 little cubs.

It is also interesting to note that you saw 8 cubs. Normally, tigers have 3 or 4 cubs. They do sometimes have 7 or 8 but this is rare. The dream, therefore, means you will a lot from your efforts.

I hope this helps and I wish I could have such a wonderful dream.

    Kind regards,

    Mark.

  8. Hello!

I dreamt of a tiger, it wasn’t a baby but it wasn’t fully grown. It was quiet. It was delivered in a box and when I opened it I didn’t fear it. I cuddled it and after awhile it began to follow me like a puppy. I encountered a group af children that feared it. I sat them down and showed them how gentle the tiger was. It never roared or anything.
I have read alot about it symbolizing power, strength, aggression and sexuality. But I cant quite relate this dream to my life. Intrested to hear your thoughts.

  9. I saw 2 tigers sitting peacefully side by side . One was white tiger while other was normal one. I was attracted to white tiger. Someone kept saying it’s harmless touch it so I took the white tiger’s paw in my hand and it suddenly pulled me but nothing else happened. I remember the fur of white tiger being really soft . What does all of this mean? I really want to know

  10. I dreamt of 2 tigers, one normal and the other black, they were sitting peacefully with each other in my house. I wanted to go touch them but I was scared. I keep having this dream every other night.

  11. I dreamt my dog was a tiger, which became very agitated, and tried to attack me, I managed to fight it off and it fled out into the garden, what does this mean?

  12. I had this dream, i was walking around the front of our house with people who seemed to be my cousins and they were younger than me. Suddenly we saw something that looked like the face of a tiger, I stretched my hand to touch it. Turns out it was a tiger that had camouflaged so I could not see the rest of its body clearly, it sprang towards me like it wanted to attack me. I jumped and fell on my back then suddenly many other tigers started to come out from the grass and attack me. I was trying to scare them with my hands or anything I could touch so that I could get in the house.

I finally managed to get in the house. I was with my 2 cousins, they are brothers but I can only remember the identity of one of them, he is 9 years old.

When we got in the house, the tigers gathered in the porch and at first they were standing with their front paws leaning towards the window as if peeping or looking at us. Then they sat there at the porch. I remember going to my bedroom and covering myself even my face inside the duvets because I was so scared.

My cousins continued peeping through the window to look if the tigers were still there. I think there were 5 or more tigers. After some time I got out of bed and went to the sitting room where my cousins were. I was cautious not to make any sounds and i was still very scared. I even remember telling one of my cousin to stop peeping because I was afraid the tigers would see him and try to attack us again.

At this point I woke up, i was not very frightened but I’m still wondering about the dream.

  13. I had a dream i will never forget . it was outside there was a bicycle with a basket on it . A tall thin black man reached in the basket took out a big pet snake that had just shed its skin . he let it go free but replaced it with a black poisonous snake. Then i look over and see a momma tiger with her two cubs and the cubs were eating the pet snake .
What is this dream telling me . it was a very strong dream

  14. Hey, if I kould get an interpretation also, that would be awesome, but no pressure. the dream waz a light-kolored tiger almost white, thin, thinning fur, roaming around an open bakyard (they had axsess to leave and go anywhere they wanted). They seemed unhappy. I felt konfuzed az to if they were my pet in the dream or somebody elsez. I felt konsern for them. but when they tried to kome into my house i overpowered them, laying my body on them (they were laying down on their belly. they growled at me and it skared me but i hung in there and felt respekt for the tiger but wazn’t going to let them in my house. then i woke up glad i wazn’t still on a tiger lol it waz a very sobering feeling to wake up to. thank you in advanse regardless if you get around to the interpretation.

  15. I had a dream where there was a female tigressaying in the lounge surrounded with my family and she was just looking at them but I also had 3 baby tiger cubs but in a cage. In my dream someone comes into the house asking for food and we provide it. The tigeresss then runs out the open door to the neighbors house where she gets shot. Myself and my boyfriend are saddened by this and decide to set the baby cubs free in the yard and as they run off a kinda of ghost of the tigeress follows them.

  16. I dreamt – 3 or 4 tiger cubs, i found in wild in Australia – not meant to be in wild Australia. No adults. Very young like kittens. I took home & adopted as pets. They were cute, very sweet, loving. Creamy White cubs, developed black stripes. They have free rein of much of house & backyard most of time. As they age, get bigger, & creamy ehite slowly turns to orange, on the back 1st, then sides, leaving tummy creamy white still, but not till they are bigger older cubs, who are getting restless.
As older restless, larger cubs, halfway to adults, they start getting aggressive & destructive & breaking doors down & going in rooms, like my bedroom, when they are not allowed, sometimes even get aggressive, trying to attack. I calling for help to stop it / them attacking. We talk about, now it’s time to call, see if we can put them in zoo, as they are getting to big to safely handle now.
I wake up, as 1 is trying to attack me. I am in my room, it is at my bedroom door, breaking it down, jaws open to attack me, I’m calling out for help, but no one comes – they are like – you chose to keep tigers, your problem not ours. If it kills you or puts you in hospital, we will call the zoo or animal control, but until that happens, you are on your own. I was in both fear, but more of confusion – like why are they family & also the aging tiger cub doing this? I don’t understand, after all the help & putting my life on hold to help them all & others, why ae they doing this to me? Why wont they help me? They are not scared & they know how to handle the attaing, they see it as harmless rough play, which they could always handle, but i never could. The cubs in past months listen to them now & not me. What is goin on?i don’t understand? Why?

    It was all 1 dream.

    Any idea what this means?

  17. I dreamt – 3 or 4 tiger cubs, i found in wild in Australia – not meant to be in wild Australia.  No adults.  Very young like kittens.  I took home & adopted as pets. 18. Hi,

I had a dream last night that stands out to me as it means something but I am having a hard time interpreting it.

I was at a huge outdoor stadium with hundreds of thousands of people. The show releases tons of animals of all different types and I pretty all kinds of large and small cats (I love cats by the way). Then a really skinny tiger with only one eye comes up to me and let’s me pet it. It starts acting like a scared large dog where they practically try to crawl into you. I pet it some more and hug it and talk soothing words. Eventually the show calls all the animals back but the tiger will not leave my side. So I try to exit the stadium seating with the tiger to go return him to his owner. Then i finally see a man looking around in paramilitary garb with a leash. He confirms the tiger is his but the tiger does not want to leave me. I have no choice but to tell the tiger I love him but he has to go with his owner. It breaks my heart but I don’t have a way of keeping the tiger who clearly is scared and wants to stay with me. Then I woke up.

  19. I dreamt of a lost baby cub tiger on the road. I picked it up to help him despite having my hands full. As I walked to look for his mum I spotted two dead cub siblings of his. Then I saw mummy tigress resting and lost and seeming to be forlorn on the road. There was water there too. I handed baby back to her….then I don’t remember anything. I wonder what it means…..
